FORWARD MOTION w/REAL ESTATE 

Founded in 2023 by Nelson C. Otuechere, this internship provides financial assistance to high school students of Boston Public Schools or those residing in Boston, MA. Mr. Otuechere, who grew up in Boston, understands the challenges that students may face in obtaining their high school diploma and wishes to reward their perseverance. The internship is designed to help students with life planning and goal setting as they pursue their educational goals.

Position Summary:

This internship program is designed to provide High School students of Boston Public Schools and/or High School students who reside in Boston, MA, with an immersive real estate agent experience. The intern will collaborate with a real estate company, assisting with goal setting, market strategies, cold calling, and customer relations. The program's primary objective is to provide a hands-on experience in business operations and entrepreneurial skills, goal setting, and networking.

Intern Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist with market strategies and customer relations.

  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to brainstorming sessions.

  • Contribute to the development and execution of innovative ideas and strategies for the company's growth.

  • Identify and research market trends and potential target customers.

  • Complete weekly tasks assigned by the supervisor.

  • Write a one-page summary of the internship experience.

  • Upon completing the internship, students will receive a $1,000 grant towards real estate school with the hopes of obtaining their real estate license.

Education

  • Must be a High School student of Boston Public Schools and/or a High School student who resides in Boston, MA.

  • Interest in entrepreneurship and real estate planning is a plus.
